How many people will be there?
All MileStone workshops are limited to a maximum of 25 delegates to encourage discussion and interaction.
Is there a dress code?
For workshops held at our hotel venues there is no dress code – so it’s entirely up to you!
Most of our delegates attend the workshops in normal business dress but you should wear
whatever you feel most comfortable in. However please note that if you are attending a
MileStone event at any of the IoD (Institute of Directors) venues, a strict dress code does
apply as follows;
IoD Members Directors' Room Dress Code
All IoD premises are a place for business, and in consideration for others, members and their
guests are expected to dress accordingly - at least 'smart casual'. The proprietor reserves
the right to exclude members or their guests if inappropriately dressed - Jeans, T-Shirts,
Trainers, Beachwear are not regarded as appropriate dress. Premises staff have the right to
require members to comply with this, and in appropriate circumstances, to exercise the
Propriertor's rights to refuse admission or require members and/or guests to leave the
premises
Can I park at the venues?
The Milestone Hotel has parking facilities nearby in the form of NCP pay
parking. Both the Copthorne Tara and the Radisson SAS Manchester Airport
have limited parking on a first come basis. In London, should the Copthorne
Tara car park be full on
your arrival, the adjacent hotel (The Kensington Close hotel) has
a NCP car park. None of the IoD venues offer parking but are conveniently
located for NCP and other car parks.
Can MileStone suggest a hotel for the evening prior to the workshop?
An overnight stay prior to the workshop - especially if you have some distance
to travel - will
help you start the day feeling fresh rather than frazzled so you get the
most from your day. MileStone are pleased to provide information about hotels
conveniently located in the area
but do not accept any responsibility for parking, service, cost or quality.
Please call us on
0115 981 5346 should you require hotel information
